Frequently Asked Questions

You can book a table 12 months in advance, and our reservation phone lines are open from 9am to 7pm, seven days a week. If you need to make a same-day booking outside these hours. Just call 0161 5033222 and we’ll transfer you directly to the restaurant.

For bookings of four guests or more, we’ll ask for credit or debit card details to secure your reservation. Should your plans change, you can call us to cancel any time up to 24 hours before your booking. After that you may incur a charge of £20 per person.

You can book online for up to 8 guests. We’re always happy to welcome larger groups, in our private dining rooms. Best to get in contact so we can advise you personally on the best options.

Rather than booking multiple tables for the same group, we offer larger parties a bespoke booking service, with exclusive menus and private rooms.

 

While we always do our very best to fulfil our guests’ requests, all tables are allocated on arrival and can’t be guaranteed in advance.

We don’t take reservations for drinks, but we’ll do our best to find you a place at the bar whether you’re waiting for your table, or just joining us for post dining cocktails.

We don’t have a waiting list, but you can see live, up-to-date availability on our website.

Our dress code is smart casual.

We welcome children of all ages. However please do count them (including babies) into your final party size. If you would require a highchair or space for a pushchair, please do specify this at the time of booking.

Guide dogs and certified emotional support dogs are allowed in all our restaurants.

We serve afternoon tea between 3pm and 4.45pm daily. Booking couldn’t be easier, just book a regular table between those times.

We’re happy to cater for special dietary requirements including non-gluten, vegan, pescatarian and vegetarian afternoon tea. Please contact the reservation team prior, giving them at least 48 hours’ notice.

We don’t allow party decorations in the restaurant. That includes, but isn’t limited to, balloons, banners, confetti and glitter.

However, if you’d like to have a celebration cake, we’d be happy to help. Just let us know at least 48 hours before your booking and we’ll talk you through the available options.

You are, of course, more than welcome to bring your own celebration cake with you. Due to health and safety regulations, we won’t be able to serve it to you, but we can

If you or a member of your group has an allergy, intolerance or any other special dietary requirements, just let us know when you book, and our team will be ready to accommodate on the day.

You can find all our menus on our website. We also have allergen charts available at the restaurant. Ask your server if you’d like to see one.

While we can’t process pre-payments or BACS transfers, you can buy Gift Vouchers on our website which can be used to pay for food and drink when you dine with us.

The Roof Garden has a fully retractable roof so in order for us to accommodate dinners it is subject to weather conditions and will remain closed in the event of rain. Availability for booking is released online 24 hour prior. The covered North and South Terrace bars located on the third floor, are open daily for drinks, however these are walk-in only on a first come first served basis as we are not accepting reservations in advance. 

Our ground floor Brasserie outdoor terrace is equipped with heaters and umbrellas. We recommend dressing warmly outside. Please do note that should the weather change, we unfortunately aren’t able to offer a table inside but we ask any guests to contact us to cancel your table in advance. 

The Roof Garden is open weather depending. Please make us aware on arrival that you would like to join us upstairs for drinks afterwards and we will always try our best to accommodate you but please note all tables are on a first come first serve basis so are subject to availability.
